USA Declares October Georgian Wine Month

It is well known that Georgian wine is some of the oldest in the world, and the USA has recognized that by declaring October Georgian Wine Month.

Many events are planned for the month. Locals and tourists who love drinking wine, or who want to learn a little more about Georgia, will have the opportunity to taste Georgian wines and compare the modern and traditional wine-making styles. A tour is coming to San Francisco, New York and Washington as well.

News Hvino published an article saying “Wines from all of Georgia’s leading producers, both big and small, will be poured, including several wineries making their debut appearance. Each tasting will be preceded by a limited-seating seminar and tutored tasting on Georgian win and wine culture.”
