Passenger Traffic up by 21% at Georgian Airports

In January-March 2019, Georgian airports served a total of 1,014,732 passengers, 21% more compared to the same period of 2018 (839,518 passengers).

The information was released by the United Airports of Georgia of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.

In March, Tbilisi International Airport served 314,065 passengers which is 8% more compared to the same period of last year (290,739passengers). In January-March, the passenger traffic in the airport increased by 11%.

Batumi airport saw over 21,664 passengers in March 2018, 16% more compared to the same period of 2018. The three-month data reveals that the airport served 51, 916 passengers.

Passenger traffic in Kutaisi International Airport increased by 101% in January-March. The airport served 156,784 people in three months while in March it saw 83% more passengers – 53,316 people. Last March it hosted 29,161passengers.
