QSIT & and Roots and Shoots Tbilisi to Host Earth Day

QSIT (Quality Schools International Tbilisi) and Roots and Shoots Tbilisi is hosting a new environmental and social event focusing on Compassion, Connection and Concern. QSIT Earth Day event is focused on fundraising as well as on showcasing the work of local charity organizations, NGOs and student campaigns for people, animals and the environment. Experience how QSIT students and local organizations give back to their community through charitable projects and community service initiatives.

Program
On April 19th, from 6pm to 9pm at QSIT in Zurgovani, we will open our upper field to media, local community, NGOs, entertainers, food vendors and business partners, as we celebrate Earth Day in a bazaar-like atmosphere. Individual booths will feature student classroom community service projects as well as the work of various social support organizations. Throughout the evening, there will be food and entertainment:

6:00 - 6:10 Welcome and Opening Remarks
6:15 - QSI Lower Elementary Student Performances
7:25 - 7:40 QSI Upper Elementary Performances
7:40 - 7:55 Honor Band
7:55 - 8:10 Local Georgian Dance Performance
8:15 - 8:30 Hellio Engine Band
8:35 - 8:50 Staff Band
8:50 - 9:00 Closing Remarks
