Saudi Arabia Sisters Seeking Shelter Move to Third Country
Two sisters from Saudi Arabia, Maha Alsubaie and Wafa Alsubaie, who crossed the Georgian border in mid-April and asked for shelter, have left Georgia and moved to another country.
The sisters posted a video on their twitter account saying they are leaving the country to move somewhere else.
“We are on our way to start a new life in a new country. We want to thank everyone who supported us and was there for us locally and overseas,” the tweet reads.
We are thrilled to announce that we are leaving Georgia. We are on our way to start a new life in a new country. We want to thank everyone who supported us and was there for us locally and overseas. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who signed our petition. pic.twitter.com/I5JHl2u12H

When Maha Alsubaie and Wafa Alsubaie arrived in Georgia, they stressed their lives were in danger, pointing to the threat from their family.
They also stated that Saudi Arabia had canceled their passports, and asked for help.
It is unknown where the sisters have received asylum.
