UK Gifts Sports Equipment to Wounded Georgian Soldiers

The Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has given Georgian soldiers wounded in various international missions, a special gift to inspire their rehabilitation and participation in sports.

The crew of the British Military Aircraft A400M Atlas delivered the gift- sports equipment for Sitting Volleyball - at the VIP terminal of Tbilisi International Airport.

UK Defense Attaché for the South Caucasus, Lieutenant-Colonel Nick Wilkes, handed the gift over to the Georgian soldiers.

Afterward, the A400M Atlas hosted a reception and presentation aboard, where a photo exhibition depicting courageous moments of the wounded Georgian soldiers was displayed.
