Tax Department Discovers Counterfeit Goods Worth 23,640 GEL

On the basis of the appeal of the representative of Massimo Dutti to Georgia, the employees of the Tax Monitoring Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia have revealed illegally stamped goods worth 23,640 GEL.

In an undisclosed location in Tbilisi, as a result of inventory and control purchasing, it was discovered that there no cash-registers or waybills were used for goods worth 11,970 GEL. In accordance with the Tax Code, the entrepreneur was given a relevant sanction. In addition, goods worth 23,640 GEL in total were discovered during the inventory process to, according to the statement of the representative of Massimo Dutti to Georgia, have been illegally stamped.

 The goods, discovered by the Tax Monitoring Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, have been removed from circulation, and the case materials transferred to the investigation department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia pending further actions.
