Six Elevators to be Installed in Tbilisi’s Underground Passages

Tbilisi City Hall, in partnership with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency will install 6 elevators in Tbilisi’s underground passages.

They will be built on Melikishvili Street, Rustaveli Avenue and Liberty Square and will enable disabled people to easier circulate in the capital. The project will cost around $100,000.

It goes along with the Georgian public services’ desire to create more services for disabled people living in Tbilisi.
