PM Bakhtadze Meets with IEFA President
The Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze hold an official meeting with Nicholas Rémillard, the President of the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA) in Montreal earlier today, the PM’s Press Office reports.
At the meeting, Rémillard expressed his gratitude to Bakhtadze for participating in the Forum and accentuated the significance of the speech, the Head of the Georgian Government is to deliver, in terms of attracting more investments for the country from the international investors.
Bakhtadze on his side, briefed about the current investment environ of Georgia and spoke about the success of the country in case of obtaining leading positions in the important and famous international rankings, as well as the further steps that have to be taken for the development of the technological and innovation’s ecosystem across the country.
The Montreal Conference, an annual event held since 1995, brings together political leaders, representatives of public and private sectors, international organizations, as well as civil society, to discuss key issues of economic globalization, and promotes direct communications between senior officials and leadership of large corporations.
The event is to take place on June 10-13 this years, seeing the Prime Minister of Georgia as the participant, delivering the speech at the opening session and engaging in discussions regarding the Global Economy in Transition.
