There is yet another novelty for travel enthusiasts wanting to discover Georgia. The road leading to the wonderful climatic-balneological resort Lebarde, located in the highlands of Western Georgia, is to be fully repaired.

The total cost of rehabilitation amounts to 3.6 million GEL and its first stage, envisaging laying a 6 km-long road, has already been started, reports the Roads Department of Georgia.

The project is scheduled to be completed in October this year.

Lebarde, a health resort, was firstly discovered by shepherds in the 1940s and soon became one of the most popular destinations in the Soviet Union.
