Georgian Serviceman dies at IV Infantry Brigade

Corporal Mamuka Kharazishvili of 44 th battalion at the IV Infantry Brigade died Thursday morning, the Ministry of Defence of Georgia reports.

“The Ministry of Defense of Georgia expresses its deep sorrow over the death of the Georgian military serviceman, Corporal Mamuka Kharazishvili,” reads the statement released by the Ministry of Defence. 

According to them, Mamuka Kharazishvili felt ill during the planned exercises and he was taken to the hospital of the IV Infantry Brigade.

Reportedly, he died from heart failure.

An investigation has been launched under Paragraph I, Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
