Tbilisi Streets to be Washed Daily

The central streets and avenues of all ten districts of Tbilisi will be washed daily starting today.

Tbilservice Group, which is responsible for cleaning services in the Georgian capital, said the work will continue until winter.

According to Levan Jgarkava, the Head of Tbilservice Group, a special schedule has been made for seasonal washing works and avenues due to heavy traffic in Tbilisi.

“We started seasonal washing works from Tamarashvili street and we’ll continue the process step by step ", - he noted.

Some of the streets and avenues which will be washed regularly include:

• Alexander Pushkin Street
• Nikoloz Baratashvili Street
• Liberty Square
• Vakhtang Gorgasali Street
• Shota Rustaveli Avenue
• Tsereteli Avenue
• Pekini Avenue
• Heroes Square
• Merab Kostava Street
• Tsotne Dadiani Street
• Kote Marjanishvili Street
• Tamarashvili Street
• Varketili Settlement - Central streets
• Vazisubani Settlement - central streets
• Guramishvili Avenue

The streets will be washed until October.
