MIA: More Information about Detainees Will Be Released Later

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has yet to comment on the individuals detained on June 20-21 at the demonstrations, noting that the relevant information will be released later today.

“For information about the detainees, call the hotline of the General Inspectorate of the Ministry – 126,” reads its simple statement.

Reportedly, police arrested several hundred protesters. The detainees claim there are injured among them.

The Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association has offered them juridical assistance.
