Protestors Demand Resignation of Interior Minister

Protesters gathered on Rustaveli Avenue, in front of the Parliament building, are demanding the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia – Giorgi Gakharia, giving him a three-hour deadline to take a decision. Otherwise, they announce rallies will begin throughout Georgia.

Grigol Vashadze, the Chairman of the "National Movement", Gigi Ugulava, one of the leaders of "European Georgia" and other opposition leaders are on the spot. Law enforcers are mobilized around.

The traffic on central Rustaveli Avenue is blocked by demonstrators.
