One Detained for Making Molotov Cocktails
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has detained a person on charges of preparing "Molotov Cocktails" with the intention of using them at today’s protest rally on Rustaveli Avenue, reported Mamuka Chelidze, the Acting Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA, at a briefing held earlier today.
Chiladze stated that within the framework of an urgent investigation, after raiding an apartment in Mukhiani District, the employees of the Central Criminal Police of the MIA of Georgia found 12 "Molotov Cocktails" and the materials required for their preparation.
In accordance with the Section III of the Article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, the offender is to receive 3 to 6 years imprisonment.
