Ambulance Staff on Duty During Protest Clashes to Receive Rewards

At the government sitting held earlier today, Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi, spoke about the recent protest rallies and noted that each member of the ambulance service that was on duty on the night of June 20, will receive a reward.

“I would like to use this chance and express my gratitude to those ambulance service teams working on Rustaveli Avenue on June 20 for the entire night,” stated the Mayor, adding, “It was as a result of their unsparing work that a number of our citizens were provided with first aid and delivered to the relevant medical establishments on time.”

Kaladze expressed his respect to the members of the ambulance service and said that on the behalf of Tbilisi City Hall, each of them will be awarded with Certificates of Appreciation and financial remuneration.

The Mayor also thanked the representatives of media for distributing relevant and objective information and wished recovery to those injured during the incident.
