Itsik Moshe: Almost 200 000 Tourists from Israel Will Visit Georgia
According to Itsik Moshe, Chair of Israeli House, approximately 200,000 tourists from Israel will visit Georgia this year, which means additional $200 million for Georgia’s budget.
"We join national interests in the field of tourism. On July 1, we will be in Barcelona, where we will meet with representatives of the Council of Europe who work to develop and strengthen the cultural route of Jewish heritage in Georgia," Moshe said.
"Additionally, we have moved three International Forums to Georgia before the end of the year and for next year, we plan to dedicate a Business Forums to the tourism industry and its development.
"We believe there is great cooperation in the sphere of tourism between Georgia, Israel, and Jews worldwide. About 200,000 tourists from Israel will visit Georgia this year, which means an additional $200 million in Georgia’s budget. We believe that through bilateral work in this field, we will be able to maintain an annual 50% growth next year", Itsik Moshe said at the event "Creative Projects Fair 2019".
