Protest Rally on Rustaveli Avenue to Resume 7 PM Today

The peaceful demonstration in front of the parliament of Georgia in central Tbilisi will resume at 7 p.m. today.

According to the organizers, they will continue rallying until Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia leaves his post. At this stage, this is their main demand, after the Georgian Government fulfilled another two: the release of people detained during June 20 Rally in front of Parliament and holding of parliamentary elections with the proportional electoral system.
