Passengers from Batumi Inspected at Domodedovo Airport
On June 29, the representatives of the Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare) inspected the passengers of the Ural Airlines, traveling from Batumi to the Russian capital at the Domodedovo Airport, Russian media reports.
“In order to prevent the entry and spread of the infectious diseases on the territory of the Russian Federation, the employees of the sanitary-quarantine control point of the Domodedovo Airport, carried out the inspection of the aircraft of Ural Airlines, offering the Batumi-Moscow flight, which landed at 15:56,” reads the post of Interfax.
Contactless thermometers were used during the inspection, as a result of which the doctors found a minor with 38.0 C fever and offered the parents to hospitalize the child, following the diagnosis of pharyngitis, but they refused.
It is said at Rospoterbnadzor that the passengers were kept onboard for no more than 30 minutes after landing. The Government Department states that all the actions of the representatives of the Service were made in accordance with International medical-sanitary regulations.
