Georgian PM Participates in World Economic Forum in China
Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, is paying a working visit to Dalian, China, where he is participating in the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The Head of the Georgian government attended the official opening ceremony of the Forum and is also to deliver a speech at the panel discussion on Talent-Transforming Technology.
Prior to the event, on July 1, Bakthadze met with Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), where the officials of the two countries discussed the prospects of increasing the exports of Georgian products there, as well as the crucial importance of the efficient utilization of the Free Trade Agreement. The parties also covered the potential of Georgia to become the regional hub.
The Georgian Prime Minister expressed his immense gratitude to Li Keqiang for the invitation to travel to Dalian and take part in the WEF, as the event brings together only the representatives of a few countries.
Mamuka Bakhtadze is scheduled to complete his visit to Dalian today.
