Tina Kandelaki Criticizes Giorgi Gabunia

 Tina Kandelaki, a Russian-based Georgian journalist has strongly criticized the recent offensive speech of Giorgi Gabunia, the anchor at Rustavi 2 TV channel.

In her video addressing, broadcasted at the Russian federal TV channel earlier today, Kandelaki stated that Mikheil Saakashvili, the former President of Georgia is behind the case, calling him “political criminal”, who according to Kandelaki, “is trying to destroy Georgia, even without being there.”

In case of the verbal humiliation of the Russian President, Tina Knadelaki evaluated it as a political hooliganism and stated that offending the President, and particularly his parents is absolutely unbearable. She noted that such behavior may become the catalyst of harsh confrontations.

Kandelaki called on Russia to “be wise” and understand that Georgia is not only Saakashvili and its nation must not be associated with only one person.
