Peskov: It Is too Early to Talk about Resuming Flights to Georgia
“It is too early to talk about resuming flights to Georgia,” Dmitry Peskov, the Spokesperson of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, told media reps earlier today.
Peskov stated the imposing of restrictions on air traffic was a forced measure, catalyzed by Russophobic manifestations and anti-Russian sentiment, noting that it is to be permanently monitored. The Spokesperson also said that in order sor the decision of the Russian President to be revised, the situation in Georgia has to be normalized and there has to be no risk for Russian tourists visiting the country.
“As soon as signs emerge that the situation has normalized for Russian tourists after such Russophobic manifestations, the time will come to analyze this and revise decisions,” said Peskov.
