Judicial Candidates Being Interviewed at High Council of Justice

Interviewing of judicial candidates for posts at Supreme Court of Georgia is underway at High Council of Justice.

Two candidates of judges, Giorgi Mikautadze and Nino Sandodze of the Supreme Court are being heard today.

The interview with Giorgi Mikautadze started at 10:00 am, while Nino Sandodze will be interviewed at 2:00 pm.

The process of interviewing the Supreme Court judicial candidates started on July 17.  The High Council of Justice has interviewed 32 out of 50 candidates, who have been chosen from 137 applicants. At the next stage, 20 candidates will be selected through secret ballot and the list will be transferred to the Parliament for farther discussion.
