7 Civilians Accused of Fraudulent Land Registration at Tbilisi Sea

The Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia reports that 7 people have been accused of using fake documents to appropriate state property against the law.

The investigative branch reports that the accused used fraudulent delivery and acceptance certificates to register and acquire state property of 9,000 square meters on territories around the Tbilisi Sea, the market price of which is more than 164 000 GEL.

The investigation is ongoing within the Criminal Code of Georgia, the first parts of articles 180 and 362. The civilians can expect at 6 to 9 year prison sentence.
