TV Pirveli Owner Set for Questioning

Vakhtang Tsereteli, the owner of “TV Pirveli” TV station, is likely to be questioned on August 8, the General Prosecutor’s Office reports.

Tsereteli requests the presence of a judge magister at the questioning.

Reportedly, Tsereteli will be questioned within the investigation that is underway into the case of JSC TBC Bank founders Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze.

No other details have yet been reported.

“They summoned me to the Prosecutor's Office. I will answer any question only in the presence of a judge, but I tell you in advance, we won’t let you destroy TV Pirveli! This television will not be influenced by anyone, nor will it work in accordance with someone’s trend! You have zero chance! You can't arrest everyone! You can't scare everyone! We overcame all the attacks and we will overcome this one as well”, Tsereteli wrote in response.
