Road Accident Claims Lives of 3 in Kaspi

A road accident has claimed the lives of three people near the village of Rene, Kaspi municipality.

The accident happened in the morning. The driver could not control the steering wheel, came off the road and crashed into the side barrier.

As a result of the accident, a mother and son - a 55-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, and a 31-year-old serviceman died on the spot. All three were traveling by taxi to Tbilisi. The driver of the vehicle is injured.

An investigation is underway under the 8th paragraph of Article 276 of Criminal Code of Georgia, involving violation of traffic safety rules for operating a vehicle that results in the death of two or more persons.
