Police Detain One for Illegal Purchase and Storage of Drugs

As a result of operative-investigation procedures, the employees of the Main Division Combating Illegal Circulation of Drugs of the Central Criminal Police, have discovered 114 grams of Heroin drug and detained the Azerbaijani citizen E.H, born in 1966.

The investigation has been launched under the sub-paragraph ‘A’, Paragraph VI of the Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving the illegal purchase and storage of drugs in especially large quantities.

The crime envisages the imprisonment from 8 to 20 years, or life imprisonment.
