Russia Violates Georgian Airspace

At about 12:00 today, a Russian aircraft violated Georgian airspace near the village of Gugutiantkari, located close to the region of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia), currently occupied by Russia. The information has already been confirmed by the State Security Service of Georgia and evaluated as “yet another provocative move by Russia, damaging current secure environ, present on site.”

The EU Monitoring Mission has been informed about the case, followed by the activation of a special hotline.  

Russian occupying forces continue the illegal installation of barbed wire fences in Gugutiantkari village.
