De facto Government of Tskhinvali Closes So-called Border

The de facto government of the occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region has decided to close the so-called "border" with Georgia regarding the celebration events of 11th anniversary of “recognizing independence".

As reported by so-called “State Security Committee”, on August 25, from 20:00, citizens will not be allowed to move at the border crossing points.

"Usual functioning of the checkpoints will resume at 06:00 on August 27," the report said.
