GEL Continues to Devaluate

The Georgian national currency continues to devaluate. The official value of 1 USD has reached 2.9339 GEL, reports the National Bank of Georgia.

The currency exchange rate was 2.9279 GEL today. Therefore, the shifts in the USD exchange rate towards the national currency has amounted to 0.012 GEL.

In case of EUR, the price of 1 EUR equals to 3.2692 GEL, whereas it was 3.2365 earlier today.

The changes in the exchange rate are to come into force tomorrow, August 27.
