Toddler Slasher Sentenced to Preventive Detention

Judge Ekaterine Kululashvili of the Tbilisi City Court has sentenced Tamar Sadzaglishvili, the woman who slashed the face of a three year old this week, to preventive detention. The latter was accused of intentional infliction of grave injury to the health of a minor.

The Judge stated that Sadzaglishvili represents a danger to society, and is likely to commit another crime.

Tamar Sadzaglishvili, DoB. 1968, was detained by the officers of the Vake-Saburtalo Division of the Tbilisi Police Department for stabbing a three-year-old child who was walking down the street with her parents on Pekini Avenue on the evening of August 27.
