Dead Woman Found in Temka District

The employees of fire and rescue services found the body of a middle-aged woman in a residential apartment in Temka District of Tbilisi. The expert-criminalists are working on the spot.

As yet, no official information has been released about the cause of woman's death but unofficial reports say that neighbors called the fire and rescue service because a fire broke out in the apartment, however, later, after the fire brigades extinguished the fire, a dead woman with a wound to her head was found.

Reportedly, the wound was inflicted by a firearm.

Supposedly, the attacker killed a woman at home and then set the house on fire to cover the murder.

An investigation has been launched under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving premeditated murder.
