Earthquake Hits Georgia



Today, on September 10, earthquakes struck Georgia first at 8:22 PM with a magnitude of 5.2 (ML) and then again at 8:24 PM, only this time the magnitude was reported to be 4.3 (ML).

The Institute of Earth Sciences and Seismic Monitoring Center states that the epicenter of both earthquakes was in Armenia, 7-8 km from the Georgian border. However, strong earthquake tremors could be felt in Tbilisi, too.
