12 Members of Lelo Public Movement Presented

Mamuka Khazaradze, Georgian businessman and the founder of TBC Bank, launched public movement called Lelo on September 12 in the seaside town of Anaklia. At the ceremony, Khazaradze announced that he would form a team of 12 professionals in each field, strongly focusing on maintenance of the gender balance.

Mamuka Khazaradze introduced the first 12 members of Lelo earlier today:

• Lana Galdava – Lawyer of Lelo
• Levan Bodzashvili – Security expert, Constitutionalist
• Teona Dolenjashvili – Writer
• Kakha Kojoridze – Lawyer
• Medea Metreveli – Philologist
• Giga Gugushvili – Painter, Professor
• Saba Buadze – Civic Movement member
• Gigla Mikautadze – Economist
• Keti Enukidze – Co-founder of the Stop Corruption Organization
• Elene Melikishvili – Foreign Policy Researcher
• Gia Mordekhashvili – Businessman
• Davit Gelashvili – Economist
• Badri Japaridze – Co-founder of TBC Bank

After introducing the members of Lelo, Khazaradze also stated that the leaders of the political party which is set to be launched in upcoming October, will be elected through the ‘primaries’ principle.
