Construction of Sidetrack Road to Bakuriani Completed

The construction of a three-kilometer long sidetrack has completed in Bakuriani. The construction works started in June 2018.

Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure has reported that due to the absence of the detour road, there were frequent traffic jams in Bakuriani. The overloaded road prevented the safe and comfortable travel of the residents and tourists. Expectedly, the opening of the new bypass will solve this problem.

Roughly, 6,3 million GEL worth project was financed by the European Investment Bank.
