Bomb Explosion in Turkey Wounds Five

On Wednesday, September 25, five people were injured in the city of Adana, Turkey, when a roadside bomb exploded as a bus carrying police drove by. One of the hurt was a police officer and the other four were just passers-by.

The blast in Adana was either an "improvised explosive device or a different type of bomb", the governor, Mahmut Demirtas, reported to Anadolu news agency.

"The injured are in really good condition. Citizens went to the hospital as a precaution. There are no issues for our police," Demirtas informed the press.

It is not yet known who carried out the bombing.
