Fire at “Tergi Market” Localized
A fire that broke out at “Tergi” Market territory today, located at Tsabadze Street, Didube district of Tbilisi, has now been localized.
The Emergency Management Service of Georgia reports that at the moment there is no danger of spreading the fire and firefighters are working on the spot to completely extinguish it.
Up to 80 firefighters were involved in firefighting operations.
The unconfirmed reports say that approximately 200 square meters and part of the products burnt out. No one is injured.
What caused the fire is not known at this stage. The investigation is underway under article 187, part 2 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages damaging or destroying an item by fire.
The fire broke out on the second floor of the market this morning.
