Ukrainian Police Kill Georgian Citizen in Special Operation
A Georgian citizen was killed by Ukrainian law enforcers during a special operation in the village of Khotianovka earlier today, Ukrainian media reported.
The Ukrainian police were searching for a man who reportedly opened fire at representatives of the Special Forces ten days ago, on September 22, resulting in two being injured.
Following the identification of the body of the deceased, the Ukrainian police reported that the citizen of Georgia was sentenced to 22 years of imprisonment for a crime committed on the territory of another state. The man was convicted of launching a criminal band, kidnapping and illegal possession of firearms. It was also noted that the felon was shot dead only after rejecting the offer of the law enforcers to surrender and opening fire at them.
