Protestors Outside Gldani Prison Support "Gavrilov's Prisoners"

Social activists united under the name “In Our Country’s Service”, showed their support for what they call ‘Gavrilov’s prisoners’ in front of the Gldani prison today, October 2.  Evidently enough, these ‘Gavrilov’s prisoners’ are the citizens who remain in jail after the events of June 20-21.

The organizers of the rally had signs and used trumpets so that their voices would reach the imprisoned.

The mother of detained Besik Tamliani was at the protest. She asked her son to stop his hunger strike.

Giga Makarashvili, one of the organizers of the rally, read the 19 names of those who were imprisoned for “Gavrilov’s night” and addressed them: “You are not alone! The truth will overcome in the fight for the truth! Stay strong!” said Makarashvili, encouraging the prisoners.
