Man Shoots Dead Ex-wife in Khashuri

Today, on October 11, a man shot dead his former wife in Khashuri district, Georgia.

Shortly after the man pulled a trigger of a hunting rifle, the woman was taken into hospital. However, her injuries turned out to be fatal and despite the doctors’ attempts, she passed away.

The police have not yet detained the man. The MIA has reported the investigation is in progress under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The claims were made that the woman had filed for divorce. Since then, the man had kept children away from her. The conflict over who should be a guardian for their kids ended tragically, as the mother was shot by her ex-husband.
