Hotel Rooms to be Opened in Former Abastumani Sanatorium

Adjara Group plans to establish hotel Rooms in the former sanatorium of Abastumani. The company recently purchased the building of former sanatorium built in the resort of Abastumani in 1924. There, in a year-and-a-half, the Adjara Group will open Rooms Abastumani. True to the company’s signature approach, the building will be restored and reconstructed while preserving its original character and paying homage to its legacy. Adjara Group plans to make a 10 million dollar investment in the project.

Adjara Group set up the first hotel Rooms in 2012 in Kazbegi. The international acclaim of the project encouraged the team to open a hotel under the same brand in the capital, and the Rooms Hotel Tbilisi was established in 2014.

Before this winter season, a new “ski-in ski-out” concept hotel Rooms Kokhta will be welcoming guests. Next year, in 2020, Adjara Group will open a Rooms in Batumi in a 19th century building.
