Citizen of Turkey Detained for Drug Crime in Georgia



Today, on October 15, the officers of the Adjara Police Department of the MIA of Georgia detained a citizen of Turkey, with name initials M.I. (DoB 1973). M.I illegally purchased and kept narcotic drugs.

MIA has reported that after the police searched the detainee’s temporary place of residence, they seized 32 packages of heroin narcotic drugs.

The detainee with name initials M.I. faces from 8 to 20 years of imprisonment.

“The investigation is in progress under part A of paragraph VI, Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving illegal purchase and keeping of narcotic drugs of the especially large amount” published the MIA on their official Facebook page.
