Wizz Air to Add New Routes to Italy and France from Kutaisi

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air is adding new routes from Georgia’s Kutaisi International Airport to the city of Bologna, Italy and Nice, France.

Starting November 23, the Airline will offer flights on the route Kutaisi-Bologna-Kutaisi two times a week. 

From December 12, it will offer flights between Kutaisi and Nice twice a week.

Wizz Air was granted permission to operate from Kutaisi to Bologna and Nice by GCAA on October 25.

Flights will be carried out by Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft until the end of the winter navigation season.

Wizz Air started operating in Georgia in 2012 and currently is the leader in the aviation market according to the number of passengers carried in the first nine months of this year (15%).
