The MFA on Mutso Rehabilitation Project Winning an Award
The village-fortress Mutso, located in the historic region of Khevsureti, Georgia has won two important awards. At the European Heritage Awards that took place in Paris, the village-fortress won the Public Choice Award, while the Rehabilitation Project received the prestigious Europa Nostra prize.
The MFA has published a tweet on their official Twitter page, celebrating the achievement of Georgia's cultural-historical heritage.
“Great to hear that the Mutso renovation project was announced as the winner of the 2019 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, in well-deserved recognition of our dedicated efforts to rebuilt the iconic village in the Georgian highlands,” reads the tweet of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
