Tender Announced for the Urban Study of Lisi Lake

A tender has been announced for the development of urban research and management mechanisms in the area of Lisi Lake in Tbilisi. The estimated cost of the project is GEL 800,000, the bulk of which will be allocated from the capital's 2020 budget.

The document prepared by the Tbilisi City Hall notes that unstable development and degradation of natural recourses in the area remains a challenge to this day.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze made the announcement last year about restrictions on construction near Lisi Lake. According to the Principal Land Use Plan, construction development is restricted for a portion of the area until environmental and urban development studies are conducted.
