Special Forces Mobilizing Near Parliament

Special forces are mobilizing on Chitadze Street near the Parliament building, where the demonstration is underway. They were brought to the scene by yellow buses.

Reportedly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs gave 30 minutes to the demonstrators to free the territory and stop picketing the building. However, they still remain in the vicinity of Parliament.

All entrances to the legislative body have been blocked so far.

People have been blocking Rustaveli Avenue for several days now, demanding snap proportional elections conducted by an interim government.
