Police Arrest three Members of ‘Make a Change’ Movement
Three members of the 'Make a Change' Movement have been arrested in front of the Georgian Dream office in Tbilisi. The police did not allow the protesters to move, which caused clashes between the parties and resulted in the arrest of 3 demonstrators.
The rally goes on outside the central office of the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia, with its participants chanting 'slaves' and 'make a change.'
The demonstrators claim that they will continuously visit Bidzina Ivanishvili everywhere he goes in order to cause discomfort to him.
The protests in Tbilisi were sparked after the rejection of the election bill last week, proposed by the ruling Georgian Dream party, offering the transition to a fully proportional electoral system from 2020 instead of 2024.
