Govt' Presents 100 State-owned Buildings for Privatization

Today, the Ministry of Economy and the National Agency of State Property presented the list of 100 state-owned buildings the government offers local and international businesses for privatization.

Among other important objects, Mestia Residence is also included in the government's privatization list. The government has estimated GEL 1 809 800 as the value of the property. The total area of the object is 13 902 sq.m.

The 100 investment offers also include the objects in the following places: in Sighnaghi - estimated value 281 763 GEL (13,000 sq m); in Bakhmaro - Estimated value 2 537 400 GEL (12 588 sq.m.), in Tbilisi, Gotua Street 14 - Estimated value 6 595 721 GEL (6 796 sq.m.).

It is worth mentioning that the Presidential residence in Mestia has been unused for several years.

Online edition TSpress.ge reports that there are 7 bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms in the wooden building, as well as a kitchen, a conference room and about 150 sq. m. living room. The President's restrooms are distinguished by their size and different design. Opposite the building, there are two auxiliary facilities with security and technical staff.
