Action Plan Developed to Improve Tourism Services in Georgian Ski Resorts
An action plan has been developed to address present-day obstacles that Georgian ski resorts face, including poor parking lots (and insfrastructure in general), traffic jams, insufficient road cleaning work, defective health services and security, announces the press office of the Georgian government.
A coordination group comprised of the representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and local self-governments have been visiting winter resorts during the past week to better comprehend the challenges they face.
As a result, specific tasks have been developed for the betterment of tourism services for the resorts in question.
“We must act based on a strictly written plan to have the winter season comply with the reputation of [Georgian] mountain resorts and expectations of our citizens and tourists,” says Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
The ministries will operate jointly to increase the effectiveness of the Georgian ski resort management.
