2019 Government Budget in Surplus

The revenue from taxes has formed a surplus in the government budget of 2019, exceeding the initial plan, the Ministry of Finance has reported.

The Government has had a tax revenue of 9 billion 651,8 million GEL in total, of which the surplus is 6,8 million GEL.

The total budget of Georgia, including the republic and local budgets of autonomous republics on the country’s territory, in 2019 went up to 11 billion 371,9 million GEL, the surplus for this time being is 61,9 million GEL.
