Ministry of Culture Hosts “Cultural Heritage in Abkhazia” Album Presentation
The Minstry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia hosted the presentation of an album about ‘Cultural Heritage in Abkhazia’ on November 9th.
The album has been published with the support of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Abkhazia AR. It includes the latest photographic material of monuments of cultural heritage in Abkhazia such as Bichvinta, Svimon Kananeli, Kamani, Ilori, Mokvi and other famous cathedrals and historical architectural monuments.
The album has been organized by the Cultural Value Protection Service of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Abkhazia AR. At the meeting were the Deputy-Minister of Culture and Monument Protection Levan Kharatishvili, the acting Chair of the Government of the Abkhazia Autonomous Republic, Vakhtang Kolbaia, the Minister of Education and Culture of Abkhazia Dimitri Jaiani, the Dead of the CCT Valoue Protection Service of the Ministry of Education of Abkhazia Irakli Gelenava as well as representatives of the National Agency of Cultural Heritage Protection of Georgia, Abkhazia AR Government and many others.
